Creativity has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Through art, I have always searched for ways to express what words cannot fully capture.
Looking back, I believe I wrote my first poems around the age of 18, during a time when I was trying to process my first heartbreak. I was fascinated by the process of shaping emotions into words and finding rhythm within them. When I read my poems out loud in my own voice, I felt a sense of relief. By expressing what I was carrying inside, those emotions seemed to become lighter.
Today, writing has become much more than poetry. My journaling process began in 2021, during a period when I felt overwhelmed by emotions and thoughts I could barely understand. I needed a way to release what was happening inside me. Writing became a tool for self-understanding. Whenever my mind feels overloaded or I experience emotions that I cannot immediately explain, I turn to writing. It helps me understand, reflect, and find clarity.
My artistic journey with photography also began in 2021. I was fascinated by the power of light, symmetry, geometry, and human emotions. Through street photography and moments found in nature, I discovered my passion for capturing stories hidden within everyday scenes. Photography allows me to observe the world, preserve fleeting emotions, and notice the beauty that often goes unseen.
In 2023, I discovered painting as another powerful way to express my inner world. While photography allows me to capture moments that already exist, painting gives me the freedom to create from within. Through acrylics, brushes, and palette knives, I transform emotions, memories, and thoughts into colors, textures, and forms. Painting has become a journey of self-discovery, reflection, and freedom. It allows me to explore my experiences, process emotions, and connect with parts of myself that cannot always be expressed through words.
For me, each artistic form represents a different way of connecting with myself and the world around me:
Photography is noticing.
Writing is understanding.
Painting is experiencing.
Writing is understanding.
Painting is experiencing.
My work explores the traces that life leaves within us, the emotions we carry, and the transformation that comes from facing our own stories. Through painting, photography, and writing, I create spaces for reflection, connection, and a deeper understanding of ourselves.
Passion, empathy, curiosity, and attention to detail shape both my artistic practice and the way I experience life.
